We at Jamiah Naleemiah are not just proud to say that Ash-Sheikh Agar Mohamed is a product of this Jamiah but that he is also the Deputy Director of this Jamiah, Allhamdulillah.The founder president of Jamiah Naleemiah, Marhoom Alhaj M.I.M. I am extremely delighted to congratulate the effort to set up www.sheikhagar.org website.
By the look of it, needless to say it is an essential step towards filling a vacuum that exists in the Islamic IT field of Sri Lanka. There had been a long felt need of the society to be able to turn to a local site where learned people, who understand the Sri Lankan culture and environment, will be able to understand the queries of the people and reply to their doubts and problems appropriately.
I pray that Allah subhanahu watha’la will make this venture a great success, serving the Muslim Umma for ages to come, as much as the Naleemiah Institute has done in the past and is continuing to do so in the present.

It really delights me that the spadework for launching a website under the title of “www.sheikhagar.org” is well under way.
Whilst Islam is the most misrepresented and misunderstood religion, it is a mind-boggling fact that it is the fastest growing faith in the world according to the recent surveys. Even though the foes of Islam strive to disfigure this beautiful revealed religion, tarnish its good name and show it to the world as terrorism and its followers as terrorists which act has caused Islamophobia all over the globe, sincere efforts are being made to present Islam in its pristine shape as a religion of peace.
There was a time when only the print and electronic media were playing a central role in informing and misinforming about Islam and Muslims. Now the World Wide Web takes the lead in doing this job. Therefore, the endeavours to combat the menace of tainting of Islam have to be doubled. Yes, Ulama and others make gigantic attempts in this regard and a net surfer could easily find a large number of websites both individual and institutional on Islam and Muslims.
It is in this context that “www.sheikhagar.org” is to be instigated shortly Insha Allah. The proposed website, judging from the list of titles of diverse contents shown to me, seems to be very useful to all, especially voracious internet browsers.
